Hello friends!
Wow… it’s been a while since I was here last, sorry for the radio-silence. Sometimes I think, who cares really if I update the blog or not, but then I keep seeing site visits almost daily, and it is so nice to know there is someone “out there” reading – thank you 🙂
So here I am again! A lot has happened since May 2020, here is an attempt to make a summary of the last 6 months and come back to the present day.

Work got very (very!) busy…
Yes, working for a company specialising in professional events meant that with Covid everything moved online. Since doing webinars was the area of expertise in my little department, when most of our big events suddenly had to switch to a digital version… my to-do list grew very considerably!
Despite being super hectic, I did enjoy the busy period (I guess with Covid there is less to do socially anyway) and I learnt lots! Working from home though, means that once the intense “working day” is over, the last thing I want to do is getting on a laptop again for the evening. Hence I kept postponing writing for fun in the blog, as much as I enjoy it.
We are expecting a baby!
Yesss! My partner and I are going to have a little girl come March 2021 🙂 We are very excited about it and, now that I am more than half way into the pregnancy, things are starting to become more real.
In our 20 week scan, the sonographer said it is a girl, she is healthy and kicking away already! We are now starting to think more seriously about the shopping list, house changes and planning the coming months until the baby is here.
Pregnancy meant I was out of action for most of the summer, with nausea, tiredness, hunger, and sleepiness during a first trimester. Basically, I got all the symptoms they talk about – while it was quite amusing seeing my body change, it also felt like an eternity! Honestly, those first 3 months are hard: you don’t want to over-share the news in case something goes wrong, you don’t feel the baby and have no idea if things are okay in there, and you have to wait for two loooong months like this, plus feeling a bit crap, until you get the first scan to get the all-good appointment and see the baby for the first time.
Anyhow, this big event somehow switched my priorities too, dropping hobbies such as the blog down my to-do list.

I graduated in a Diploma of Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching 🙂
Oh yes! Surpriseee!! I don’t think I mentioned it here before, but since September 2019 I have been studying for a Diploma to become a Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach. After a very intense Spring and Summer full of assignments, practice with real “clients” and exams, I finally completed it and passed it last August 2020, yay!!!
Despite the last couple of months of the course were hard, particularly combined with the long hours I was doing at work AND my aversion to spend (even more!) time in front of a screen, I managed to finish it and even received my shiny new Diploma certificate last month!
And with this, I am going to bring this post update to an end… for now.
Next, I would love to tell you more about my plans to do with the Diploma, options for the future and how I see myself taking it forward.
Until then, lots of love, thanks for reading and see you soon!
