About

Hola! My name is Eva Fernandez Ortiz. Scroll down to learn a bit more about me!

As a Health Coach, my aim is to help my clients become the healthiest version of themselves. I have a special interest in how our emotions and relationships impact our health (for better and worse!) and therefore in holistic health improvement and disease prevention.

My work and values are focused on prioritising solid, long-term change as opposed to quick but momentary results. I achieve this by helping my clients understand the root causes behind the so-called “bad habits” and teaching them behavioural change methods to implement the health improvements they always wanted, but struggled to accomplish.

What we can achieve together:

  • Stress less and sleep better
  • Improve the quality of your relationships and therefore your health
  • Get rid of guilt when it comes to food and truly enjoy eating
  • Look good for your age and increase your confidence
  • Feel in control and better about yourself

Quotes to live by…

Wellbeing

The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.

Esther Perel

Nutrition

In my food world, there is no fear or guilt, only joy and balance.

Ellie Krieger

Lifelong change

Anything that we can’t do forever is by definition unsustainable.

David Attenborough

In a life story

My name is Eva; Barcelona-born and London-settled, I guess Wellbeing Lifelong is a project that defines myself and my life path quite accurately.

Since I was a child, I’ve always been interested in health and wellbeing, I still remember advocating for my dad to quit smoking as a 10-year-old!

My teenage, self-discovery years pushed me to read and learn about psychology and relationships. This was an inner interest of mine that I still hold today, and that led me to complete a one-year course in Humanistic Counselling Skills at the Gestalt Centre in London (2015), and another as a Listener Volunteer with the Samaritans Charity (2014).

My university years, both in Spain (2004-09) and in the UK (2009-10), taught me the ins and outs of Media, with writing being the hook that dragged me to study Journalism. After that, my professional career kicked off in the world of content marketing and SEO… to finally settle into the exciting and ever-growing industry of Digital Marketing and Virtual Events.

Then in 2015, during a particularly rough period, I discovered yoga. For me, the glue that mixed it all together: mind and body. The discipline that helped me discover how a physical practise could also calm the mind and provide answers, and vice-versa; as I tried to explain in the post What do you mean by “Be Like Yoga”?

Reaching my 30s (and sitting in an office for too many hours), made me want to learn more about nutrition and ways of taking better care of my body. My life-long passion turned then into something solid when I completed my Diploma on Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching in September 2020.

And here I am now! I hope you enjoy your visit to Wellbeing Lifelong, where I ultimately wish to share my love for health and wellbeing in the blog, as well as to offer my knowledge and services as a Health Coach while working together.

I hope we can connect somehow – either in person or virtually – and that you also find answers to some of your questions, either body or mind related.

Let’s work together 🙂
